Golf social media star Paige Spiranac has certainly got into the mood for The Open as she smashed a 300-yard drive down the Old Course fairway before sensationally claiming Tiger Woods will win at St Andrews this weekend.
The former golf pro showed off her perfect swing on a virtual version of St Andrews ahead of the 150th edition of The Open Championship this week. The iconic tournament – the fourth and final major of 2022 – teed off on Thursday.
The 29-year-old left the professional circuit in 2016 before surging to fame on social media, and she was even recently named the World’s Sexiest Woman by Maxim. However, Spiranac proved she’s still got it as she wowed her 3.5 million followers with the monster drive off the first tee.

She watched the ball as it flew through the air to land on the simulated fairway right down the middle. The video was accompanied with a caption which read: “Hitting a tee shot at the Old Course and I’m getting so excited for The Open.
“Tiger Woods is playing and loves this course. Do you think he can win?”
Spiranac correctly predicted the winner of the US Open last month as she backed Matt Fitzpatrick for glory with the Englishman securing the first major title of his career. This weekend though, she is going for a slightly larger name to claim the Claret Jug.
“St Andrews, the Old Course, the home of golf!” Spiranac told PointsBet. “And potentially the home of Tiger Woods' next Major victory.
“I am all in on him this week. Why? First let's look at the terrain. It's flatter than Augusta National – which is very hilly – and difficult to walk on even if you're in perfect condition and health.

“As we know Tiger is still recovering from his injury and having flatter terrain will keep his body in shape until day four. Also it's about shot shaping here. Not just about brute strength and getting out of that thick rough.
“He'll be able to hit a bunch of stingers, shape-shots and really show off his shot-making ability. We know he can win here. He has endless course knowledge. This is his course. Even if you're not all in on him winning, at least back him to make the cut.”
To celebrate 4th of July recently, Spiranac enjoyed a hotdog challenge to the delight of her fans. Her followers suggested an Independence Day challenge to see how many hotdogs she could eat in 10 minutes.
However, the thought of that ‘made her gag’ – so she has turned her attentions to manifesting Woods’ 16th major title win. The 46-year-old has won The Open three times, with his most recent triumph coming in 2006.
