Paige Spiranac roasts Bryson DeChambeau after LIV Golf rope attack in mock video

Golf beauty Paige Spiranac was never going to let Bryson DeChambeau get away with being floored by a course rope in Chicago last week.

DeChambeau, one of LIV Golf's most divisive star's, was left red faced – and eyed – when he found himself clotheslined as he walked towards the 14th hole at Rich Harvest Farms. He spent some time complaining he couldn't see before eventually regathering his composure and making birdie.

Sympathy for 'The Scientist' was in short supply though, not least from Spiranac. The internet sensation has taken frequent verbal shots at the former US Open champion, brutally mocking him ahead of The Masters this year for his past claim that Augusta National was a par-67.

And following his embarrassing mishap, she took to Twitter, dressed in an eye-catching white top, to post some amusing analysis: "We all love watching sports but we don't love watching players get injured," she said, before pretending she could barely speak with the shock.

"I saw one of the most horrendous injuries I've ever seen. As we know golfers have a reputation for being soft and Bryson DeChambeau has proved everyone wrong," continued Spiranac, before describing how he was walking at a 'staggering 1 miles per hour'.

"This spectator rope came out of nowhere and almost decapitated him, blinded him. Caught him in the face. He fell to the ground 'I can't see, I can't see' everyone is wondering is he going to get up?"

A low blow from Spiranac or is she talking the truth? Let us know in the comments section.

She then offered sarcastic praise for 29-year-old, finishing with: "He got up. He finished his round. And he proved that golfers are tough as nails. Thanks for being an inspiration Bryson."

The tweet went down well with Spiranac's followers, with @Matt_ham08 joining in the fun by saying "Contact sport," while @Jensen_Jennings added: "Credit to Bryson. I think I’d have been down for the count after that vicious attack from the rope."

DeChambeau became one of the major high-profile defectors when he signed for the Saudi-backed tour in June. He's yet to win a rebel event though, with his total of six under par in Chicago enough for joint eighth, and £568,000.
