Ebanie Bridges fired a warning to the significantly stranger contingent of her fan base – insisting her bath water would be far too expensive for them to buy.
The IBF bantamweight world champion has established a huge fan base in recent years. Whether it is her brutal boxing fights against the likes of Maria Cecilia Roman, her raunchy weigh-in lingerie outfits, or even her hilariously outspoken appearances on podcasts, Bridges is becoming a cult figure in women’s boxing.
Bridges has not fought since overcoming Roman to win her first world championship, but that doesn't mean she has been out of the limelight. However, the Australian boxing bombshell once again addressed the more assertive and obsessive section of her 520,000 followers on Instagram.

During a Q&A on her Instagram account, one unusual and possibly troubled fan asked how much a cup of bath water was. While Bridges may have been slightly exasperated by the request, she appeared to remain slightly entrepreneurial, in that she did not completely slam the door shut.
“I swear I get so many new requests for this,” Bridges began on her Instagram story. “Look, if my socks cost £500 then my bath water is going to cost a f***ing lot more.
“I don’t reckon you’ll can’t f***ing afford that. So, stop asking me about my bath water.”

It would not be the first time overzealous boxing fanatics paid good money for some unusual souvenirs. Bridges once claimed fans have paid very tidy sums for her pre-worn training and fight socks.
“$1000 AUS (roughly £540) is a pretty good affordable thing for people,” Bridges said on an episode of the ‘Can You Survive This’ podcast. “Obviously it’s a lot more for my fight socks, but just my everyday training socks yeah it’s $1000,” she revealed.
“They pay $150 AUS (about £85) for just a picture of my dirty socks on the floor, not even on my feet.”
