Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren live fight updates, results, highlights from 2021 boxing match

Social media celebrity Jake Paul will continue his professional boxing career by taking on his first real fighter in former MMA world champion Ben Askren in an eight-round cruiserweight fight on Triller’s Fight Club.

Paul is in pursuit of his third win inside of the squared circle. His previous two bouts were one-sided knockout victories over fellow YouTuber AnEsonGib and NBA slam dunk champion Nate Robinson. But this will likely be his toughest test to date as Askren is a highly decorated MMA fighter who held world championships at Bellator and ONE before ending his career in the UFC.

With two knockout victories under his belt, Paul has promised to collect his third against Askren. As for the 36-year-old former world champion, he aims to silence Paul and put an end to the 24-year-old’s dreams of being the biggest star in boxing.

Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren live updates, results

6:25 p.m.: Following The Black Keys performance, we go to the commentary team and Ray Flores, who is known for his professionalism, has joined the fray with his own foul-mouthed commentary. This is so unique. Undefeated Joe Fournier (8-0, 8 KOs) faces reggaeton artist Reykon (0-0) in the first fight of the night. This fight happened over a girl. Yup. Throw logic out the window and enjoy the night.

6:05 p.m.: We kick off the Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren PPV with Snoop and Jaleel White as White promotes his “Purple Urkle” strain. After that advertisement, Snoop is joined by Pete Davidson and Diplo. Some curse words fly and Davidson says he wouldn’t have an issue with Snoop or Diplo having sexual relations with his mother. The Black Keys are the first performance of the evening. This is going to be one hell of a night.
