Logan Paul was left in disbelief when he was offered the chance to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The YouTube sensation has signed up to face the 50-0 Mayweather who is considered by many to be the greatest pound for pound boxer of the last 30 years.
Paul, 25, goes into the exhibition on the back of a controversial defeat to KSI on his professional debut after the pair drew as amateurs in August of 2018.
Mayweather has will be taking part in his second fight of this kind after beating Tenshin Nasukawa inside one round in December of the same year in Japan.
Paul told Food Truck Diaries this week that he was left baffled after the contract was placed in front of him by manager Jeffrey Levin.
He said: ”None of this is comprehensible. This makes no f****** sense.
"My manager, months ago, comes up to me, he says 'Logan would you fight Floyd Mayweather?'
"I go, 'I mean yes I would, but why are you asking me that question? Like go do something else, this makes no sense, how is that going to be a thing ever?'
"I think a month later, he approached me with a contract. He said 'If you sign here, you're going to be fighting Floyd Mayweather.'
"I said 'Sure Jeff, I'll sign your fantasy contract. Like f*** you, why would this ever happen?'
"I signed it, and then after just months and months of going back and forth and figuring out dates, we had three different dates, and how to announce it, and just like the strategy behind it.
"It finally came to fruition, and this event that supersedes everything I've ever done in my life, is finally solidified."
The boxing legend is set to receive a significantly larger chunk of the money than his new foe, with £4million set to come upfront for the 43-year-old.
Mayweather said last month: "These YouTube girls better find some Barbie dolls to play with cause I’m not the one for the kid games.
“Three years ago a fighter from the UFC said my name and I had to put a muzzle on that b****. Logan Paul can get the same treatment before I go conquer Japan again.”
