Paige VanZant believes punches to the breasts should not be allowed with the former UFC star opening up on her career.
VanZant was cut from the UFC last year but was soon back in the ring, taking part in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
She took part in an ‘Ask Me Anything’ on Reddit on Friday, with plenty interested in her career.
VanZant had often spoke about her salary in the UFC, making plenty of money by posting raunchy pics on her Instagram account.
Though many were interested in the fighting side and when one user asked if “ti**y punches hurt in a fight and are a strategic move”, VanZant was not messing about in her response.
She simply put: “Do not punch people in the boobs!”
VanZant lost three of her last four UFC bouts before leaving the organisation. She was then beaten by Britain Hart in her BKFC debut in February.
And when questioned in how long it takes to get over a defeat, VanZant replied: “I never get over any losses. They all break my heart. I put so much into each camp and to come up short is very painful.”
VanZant signed a four-bout contract to fight exclusively in the BKFC, reported to be worth over $1m, though she admitted she was in pain following her first fight.
She was asked whether fighters need to hold back power in bare knuckle competition in comparison to MMA.
VanZant answered: “Yes. My knuckles were so messed up from that fight.”
And when asked for her biggest surprise in her debut, she put: “Biggest shock was how fast the rounds went. It was like I blinked and it was over.”
