Scariest man on the planet to take on Iranian Hulk in 2022 boxing match

A boxing match between Martyn 'the scariest man on the planet' Ford and Sajad 'Iranian Hulk' Gharibi has been officially announced.

The fight, which was confirmed by both competitors on their social media, will take place on April 2, 2022, at the O2 Arena in London.

Ford, 39, a British actor, bodybuilder, and personal trainer, stands at a towering 6ft 8 inches tall. Gharibi, meanwhile is a 390-pound weightlifter who has built a substantial following on social media.

Ford has trained in MMA but in terms of boxing, both fighters are largely inexperienced, having never competed before.

In an Instagram post, Ford said that he couldn’t promise the most technical fight viewers will see, but that things between him and his upcoming opponent have got 'very personal'.

"The London O2 is booked. I would absolutely love to put on an event you guys will never forget," Ford said on Instagram.

"This to me is very personal…things have been said that can't be taken back, by numerous people in his circle.

"I will release exactly what at the press conference and you will see just why this is so personal to me. I can't promise you the most technical fight in the world but I will promise you that I will bring my absolute everything and turn this into an event you will never forget.

"I would absolutely love to pack this arena out and have 20k screaming friends and family show this guy exactly what it means to be strong enough to stand up for what you believe in."

'Iranian Hulk' Gharibi, who recently filmed himself punching through a large animal bone on a block, challenged UFC president Dana White to sign him last year, calling the current roster ‘tiny’ and skinny’.

"Some of these tiny and skinny fighters make me really bored @danawhite," he said. "Super heavyweight fighting can be more exciting, believe me. I'm totally ready for it, just tell me who is at my style and level, and where I should smash him."

"I come to Octagon for a real battle, not for fun, I will announce the opponent in the first press conference. 180kg.”
