MMA star-turned-boxer Anthony Taylor has predicted his former opponent Tommy Fury will be dealt a 'devastating knockout' when he faces Paul Bamba, forcing him in to an early retirement.
Fury makes his long-awaited return to the boxing ring this weekend this weekend to take on Bamba. The pair will face off on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather vs Deji in Dubai on Sunday, with Fury's old foe Taylor also featuring as he takes on Love Island star Jack Fincham. The duo met in the summer of 2021, with the former just edging out his opponent via a unanimous decision.
Speaking ahead of this weekend's action, the former MMA star claimed to be the only real test the Englishman has faced in the ring, and believes following Saturday's fight his father John and heavyweight world champion brother Tyson will have to call for the 23-year-old to end his career.

He told Vegas Insider: "I am the only legitimate competition Tommy Fury has faced, he’s a bit of a fraud, if I’m truthful. Big John Fury must despair at Tommy’s progress and opponents.
"Yet there’s still a chance that Paul Bamba ends Tommy’s career on November 13. That’s what I’m predicting, the retirement of Tommy Fury after a devastating KO. Big John and Tyson Fury will then have to make an intervention.
"They’ll need to sit down and tell him he’s not a real fighter." Like Fury, Taylor's opponent Fincham also found fame through the reality TV show, and the American has predicted a similar fate for the his rival.

Taylor went on: "Jack, like Tommy Fury, doesn’t belong inside a ring. They belong on Love Island. They are reality stars, not fighters. They’re not built for the hurt game and that’s exactly what is going to happen to Jack, he’s going to get hurt.”
And if he defeats Fincham on Saturday, the American has his eye on another English star in KSI. "After I dispose of Fincham, I want KSI," revealed 'Pretty Boy'.
"If KSI wants the Jake Paul fight, then I’m the perfect opponent to start with, having sparred many rounds with Paul. Earn your shot against Jake by beating his sparring partner.”
