Tyson Fury does not believe in ‘sex bans’ before big fights – but he has claimed to have put himself under a self-enforced one before his trilogy bout against Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas.

The self-proclaimed Gypsy King has been away from wife Paris for almost a month anyways, but he insists he abstained from any action between the sheets before he jetted to Las Vegas.

And he will continue to do so even if his wife makes it out for the fight this weekend, too.

That’s despite him previously claiming to have “seven w**** a day” in preparation for big fights.

Fury, 33, is set to defend his WBC heavyweight title against Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas this weekend.

He said: “What? No shagging before fights? Nah, that’s a myth, don’t believe it!

"But my d*** will be in my pants – it’s in there more or less full-time but it might be coming out after the fight.

"I don’t believe in sex in training camp, I am an old school fighter and I like to keep nice and strong, keep it all in the tank and then take out all the aggression on the night.

"I’m not relieving myself once a week – let alone once or seven times a day. "I don’t even remember when I had my last w***!"

Earlier this week, Fury insisted that he will not be taking Wilder lightly when they step into the ring, saying that he will be dealing with an “atomic bomb”.

He said: “A lot of people are writing Deontay Wilder off in this fight. They almost look at Deontay Wilder like he’s a bum. Like he can’t fight and he’s useless.

“But make no mistake about this, Deontay Wilder is the most dangerous heavyweight out there. Combine them all together and they don’t make a danger like Wilder.

“So that’s what I’m messing with. I’m playing with an atomic bomb, messing round, clipping wires.

“Every time you go into the ring with Deontay Wilder you’re playing with that danger.

“This is the third time now I’ve been in the ring with him and every single time he’s very, very dangerous. You can’t write Wilder off. He’s a very, very dangerous hombre with big, big power and he can close the distance quick.

“With most boxers they need to hit you with five punches, with Wilder he can hit you with a quarter punch and knock you spark out.”
