Tyson Fury gave a very honest and expletive-filled opinion of Eddie Hearn, the promoter of Anthony Joshua. The two British heavyweights own all four world championships between them and have been mooted to fight one another for years only for stumbling blocks to fall in their way.
A deal was supposedly close to being struck earlier this year with a fight to find the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.
However, complications arose when Deontay Wilder triggered a clause forcing the American to fight Fury for the third time in their epic saga while Joshua will face Oleksandr Usyk later this month.
There has been plenty of back-and-forth between the duo’s camps, and when asked by Gary Neville what he thinks of Joshua’s promoter Hearn, Fury characteristically gave a colourful answer.
“He is a proper southern w*****,” Fury said on Sky Bet’s lates Overlap Xtra video.

“I don’t know if I can say that on YouTube, can I say that? He is.
I love to terrorise Eddie because he loves to talk s*** about people that he has nothing to do with.
“All Eddie Hearn has ever done is talk rubbish about me because he knows it gets him hits and viewing figures on interviews – but at the end of the day what has he achieved in his life?
“He’s not a boxer, he goes around like he’s world heavyweight champion but he ain’t. He’s just a businessman and there’s plenty of them out there – but there’s one real world heavyweight champion and that’s me.”

Fury, who revealed he nearly signed with Hearn and suggested the promoter called missing out on his signature ‘the biggest regret of his life’, was also shown a clip of Joshua talking about a potential fight with the 33-year-old.
Joshua insisted he would ‘smoke’ Fury, which the Morecambe heavyweight took issue with.
“AJ couldn’t smoke a cigarette, let alone the Gypsy King,” Fury declared. “He hasn’t got the minerals to fight a man like me. I said to Eddie Hearn that the difference between me and him is he’s a businessman and I’m a f****** spartan. I’m going to show him that when he’s in the ring.
“I will absolutely annihilate that bodybuilder. He won’t go past six rounds – it will be over quickly. He knows it, and his whole team know it and that’s why Eddie Hearn has been steering round me for the last 10 years.”
Fury admitted he respects Joshua for turning his life around and becoming a champion as well as an ambassador for the sport.
Despite that, Fury insisted he will annihilate Joshua within six rounds, referring to him as a bodybuilder rather than as a boxer – and said Hearn and Joshua’s team ‘all know it’.
The Gypsy King then revealed that Joshua was a fan of his before they became rivals, suggesting that the 31-year-old used to follow him on Instagram.
Joshua will be in action and defend his IBF, WBA and WBO titles against Usyk on September 25 while Fury will put his WBC title on the line against Wilder in a grudge trilogy fight a few weeks later on October 9.
