NBA Finals DraftKings Picks: NBA DFS lineup advice for Game 4 Lakers-Heat Showdown tournaments

Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic remain injury question marks for Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Heat and Lakers. After the Heat claimed Game 3, it looks like a series again, and there’s all kinds of intrigue for DFS players looking to put together a DraftKings Showdown lineup with our strategy and advice.

With the superstars across the board in this game, we’ve again gone with a value captain choice. Thanks to some weird pricing from DK, though, we’ve also fit in Tyler Herro for the first time in this series, getting four studs into our lineup instead of three.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Lakers vs. Heat Game 4

Captain (1.5x price, 1.5x points): Alex Caruso, Lakers ($5,400)

Caruso was our Game 1 captain, and we’ve returned to the well for Game 4. He continues to see 22-plus minutes a game off the Lakers’ bench and does a little bit of everything. All it takes is one little hot stretch for Caruso to go from having a solid captain game to having a great one.

FLEX: LeBron James, Lakers ($12,000)

Somehow James’ price dropped a full $1K between Game 3 and Game 4. He’ll surely come back with a vengence after the way Butler played in Game 3. It’s no use betting against the King.

FLEX: Anthony Davis, Lakers ($11,400)

Davis was due for a quiet game, but it came in part because he attempted just nine shots. Expect the Lakers to try to get AD rolling early in Game 4. He could have nine shots in his first stint on the floor, and he’ll bounce back with a big statline.

FLEX: Jimmy Butler, Heat ($9,600)

A 40-point triple-double was a remarkable way for Butler to get Miami back into this series. He’s likely due for a bit of regression, and if either of the Heat’s injured starters returns, Butler will see his usage go down. But you should ensure your Game 4 lineup has James, Davis and Butler all in it for sure.

FLEX: Tyler Herro, Heat ($8,000)

This is the first time we’ve fit Herro in our lineup construction for the NBA Finals, and we can do so thanks to the drops in price to LeBron and AD. Herro has scored in double digits in every playoff game, and it won’t matter whether he keeps starting or returns to the bench. He’ll do it again in this one.

FLEX: Kelly Olynyk, Heat ($3,200)

Olynyk’s price didn’t change despite a second-straight game scoring more than 30 DK points. Keep an eye on Adebayo’s status. If he returns, you could pivot Olynyk to Markieff Morris, but if Adebayo’s out again, there’s no reason Olynyk won’t have another big day.
