F1 preview: A lap of the Monaco Grand Prix
Martin Brundle has revealed he has secret information on Lewis Hamilton’s possible Ferrari move. The Sky Sports F1 host admitted he knew where rumours of Ferrari’s readiness to offer Hamilton a deal came from.
Earlier this week, The Mail reported that the Scuderia were preparing a £40million bid to secure Hamilton’s services. It claimed the team’s preference was for Hamilton to partner Charles Leclerc for 2024 but did not rule out swapping the Monegasque to get a deal over the line.
Ahead of Friday practice, Brundle stressed he knew the source behind the claims but refused to share more information. He said: “I even know where the rumour came from. It’s all been a bit mischievous. I can’t tell you that.”
