Knights reassure fans
NRL: Newcastle Knights forward Daniel Saifiti has reassured fans regarding the depth at the club following their huge pre-season loss to St George.
The Broncos remain in the box seat to re-sign Fifita, after he rejected a monster five-year $5 million dollar offer from the Rabbitohs, according to James Hooper.
However the Titans have a lot more room to move in their salary cap than the Broncos and have the geographical advantage of being closer to Brisbane than the Rabbitohs.
The Titans have a potential four-year $3.2 million deal to pitch to Fifita to try and lure him away from red Hill, according to the report.

The Broncos are expected to offer only a one or two-year deal with a view to upgrading the contract at a later date.
However given Fifita’s impact on rugby league at the age of 19, there is a belief that he deserves a bigger contract not only on potential, but on what he is doing right now.
Fifita admitted he was unsure of where his future lies beyond the 2020 season.
“I’m not too sure what I’m going to do to be honest,” Fifita told The Courier-Mail.
“I’m happy at the Broncos.

“(But) It’s a business at the end of the day … you know how it works.”
Titans coach Justin Holbrook admitted his club is very interested in signing Fifita from their Queensland rivals.
“I haven’t heard much about (chasing Fifita), but I’d love to have him,” Holbrook said.
“I don’t know where that’s at. I’d love to (have him) if he’s available.
“Recruitment is always ongoing, we’ll see how we go.”
Fifita who turns 20 on Tuesday debuted for the Broncos in 2018 and has played 35 first grade to date.
Fifita made his Origin debut for Queensland in 2019 and also represented Australia at the World Nines last season where he was one of the stars of the tournament.
