After Sergio Aguero 's move to Barcelona was officially confirmed, he reportedly gave a number of gifts to Manchester City 's staff as his ten-year association with the club came to an end.
Aguero agreed a two-year deal with Barcelona on Monday and he will officially join them when his contract with City ends at the end of next month.
According to a report from the Athletic, Aguero bought every member of staff at City's first-team building either a Tag-Heuer or Hublot watch which cost at least £1,000 each.
The watches were said to be engraved with the words: "Gracias! Kun Aguero".
Aguero also made a 'significant' donation to a 'cash pot that the squad hand over to support staff', as well as gifting them a raffle ticket which gave them the chance to win his luxury Range Rover Evoque.
Speaking as he was officially presented as a Barcelona player, Aguero said: "We all know that Barca are the best club in the world so I think I made a great decision to be here and I hope to help the team.
"Of course it's a step forward in my career, I'm really happy and hopefully I can help the team to win things.
"First of all I want to play and help this squad and if the team does it well I will be happy individual. I just try to help the team and try to arrive at the end of the season with chances to win titles.
"I want to send a big hello to all the supporters, I will give my best and hopefully the fans will enjoy my skills.
"I have changed a little bit, at least my looks, when I arrived in Europe with Atletico Madrid I learnt a lot then I played for City, now I have changed my way of playing, but I have an idea where I can play."
