Arsenal 4-1 Crystal Palace: Bukayo Saka scores twice with Gabriel Martinelli and Granit Xhaka also getting on the scoresheet as the Gunners move eight points clear at the top of the Premier League

• Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka found the net in the first half for Arsenal 
• Granit Xhaka and Saka scored after half time to help Arsenal to victory
• Jeffrey Schlupp netted a consolation goal for the managerless visitors 

Arsenal stretched their lead at the top of the table to eight points after cruising past Crystal Palace 4-1 at the Emirates on Sunday. 

The visitors almost took a shock lead when Wilfried Zaha saw his effort cannon back off the post early on, but Arsenal started to click into gear as the first half wore on and opened up a commanding lead thanks to strikes from Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka. 

Granit Xhaka made it three shortly after half time, but Palace briefly threatened a comeback as Jeffrey Schlupp pulled one back and then Zaha went close again. However, Saka put the game to bed with a composed finish from Kieran Tierney’s cut-back to keep Arsenal’s title charge firmly on track.
