Arsenal fans have double transfer theory after Santi Cazorla Instagram ‘hint’

Arsenal fans think the club's official Instagram account has dropped a double hint over two late summer signings.

Houssem Aouar and Thomas Partey are two midfielders who continue to be linked with a move to the Emirates.

And a recent Santi Cazorla video on Arsenal's Instagram page has fans thinking both men are en route in the next few days.

Arsenal captioned the post: "Any worries Santi?" – with the Spaniard saying "No worries mate" in an English accent.

The first time Cazorla says it, he is in front of a red, blue and yellow background, with fans thinking that is a reference to Atletico Madrid and Partey.

But the second time, a blue background can be seen, leading fans to think that is a Lyon message.

"It's a hint man. The background changes and it says don't worry," one fan replied.

"Admin teasing us because why would they randomly post this," said another.

"Is this another cryptic message?" asked another.

Arteta was asked about transfers this week, as the window prepares to close.

“I am very happy because the way we are acting, the way we are approaching, and the way we are doing the processes around the market, around the squad, the communication link we have between myself, Edu, the board, and the ownership it’s really good, and I’m really satisfied," he said.

“I know that we are all trying our best to improve the team, and to try to take the direction to achieve the goals that we want.

“Afterwards, to achieve it or not, sometimes in a deal a lot of things can happen. You can have three or four parties who have to be involved in it, but we are trying our best and I’m really happy with how the link and communication is flowing at the moment.”

And the Arsenal boss insisted that if no signings were made, it wasn't because the club didn't try their hardest.

“It would be because we can’t do more,” he added.

“We are trying our maximum, maximising our resources, full support from the ownership as well in terms of what we are trying to achieve.

“It’s whether we can do it or not. And with what we have [in the squad right now], believe me, we will try our best, giving them the best possible environment, the best possible coaching, and have them believing we can achieve what we want to do.

“If that’s with one more player, two more players, or two players less, we will keep doing the same.”
