Neymar was taunted with chants about his taxes after the Brazilian public voted to oust far-right president Jair Bolsonaro.
The PSG star, 30, had thrown his election support behind Bolsonaro, who has been narrowly defeated by leftist former leader Lula da Silva. Neymar was accused of having agreed a deal to write off his tax debt in exchange for his backing by the opposition candidate.
So Bolsonaro's defeat left Lula's supporters chanting "Ey, Neymar, vai ter que declarar", which translates to "Hey, Neymar, you will have to declare". He's faced multiple courts cases for tax evasion over the years in his home country.

And it seems there may now be more to come under Lula, who won 50.9% of the close vote. Prior to the polls opening, Neymar claimed his support for the controversial Bolsonaro was because they share the same values.
“What motivated me to express my opinion are the values that the President represents, they are the same as mine, those of my family. He defends the people, the children, the family," he said.

"It’s important to take a stand. I call on those who hesitate to do so. It’s a right, it’s important to express your values. I’m proud to do that."
He also vowed to dedicate his first goal of the World Cup finals to him should he score – although that seems unlikely now. As the voting got underway yesterday (October 30), he posted on Instagram: "May your will be done, God."
Neymar is yet to react to the result. A number of other footballers had been supporting Bolsonaro, including Tottenham forward Lucas Moura and Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Brazil manager Tite was on the other side of the fence, though, vowing to not meet with Bolsonaro before he and his squad set off to Qatar next month, despite it being tradition to do so.
