The England Under-21 defender has been a revelation since joining from Premier League rivals Chelsea in January.

His impressive displays have caught the eye of European Champions Bayern Munich and Spanish side Sevilla.

The Sun claims negotiations are expected to start soon to upgrade his current terms of £14,000-a-week plus bonuses.

Lamptey, who turned 20 last month, still has three years to run on his existing deal.

Lamptey already has three assists to his name this campaign, including one against his former club in their first game of the new top-flight season by setting up Leandro Trossard in the Seagulls’ 3-1 defeat.
