Bruno Fernandes has demonstrated his leadership qualities once again by giving Manchester United new boy Amad Diallo some words of advice in training.
Diallo, 18, finally sealed his £37million move to Old Trafford this month after United first agreed the transfer with Atalanta back in October.
The teenage winger joined up with his new teammates for the first time at Carrington last week and could be in line to make his debut within the next month.
And ahead of his potential Red Devils bow, he was spotted receiving advice from Fernandes in training on Tuesday.
In footage released by the club, Diallo could be seen listening closely to the Portugal midfielder, who has become a leader in the dressing room since completing his own move from Sporting Lisbon last year.
His words clearly made a good impression on the Ivorian, who instantly put himself about in training to edge himself closer to his United debut.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been impressed by Diallo early on and insists it will not be long until he earns a place in his matchday squad.
Asked about his first impressions of the new signing, the United manager said: “Very good. He can handle the ball, he’s enjoyed training and makes a difference in training, which is quite remarkable at his age.
“[He’ll need] some adjustment to settle into the hustle and bustle of the physical part of the Premier League. I can’t see it being too long until he’s in the squad.
“It might be quicker than [four or five weeks], who knows? He's definitely settled down well, the players have taken to him, he's a very good character, a very polite, smiley boy who works really hard.

“He's doing his sessions, getting used to us, of course, there's always a period of adjustment needed but he's settling in well.”
Diallo could earn a place in Solskjaer’s squad for United’s clash with Fulham at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night, which will see them try to climb back above Leicester at the top of the Premier League table.
