Carragher names Liverpool’s 6 world-class stars as Reds stage West Ham comeback

Jamie Carragher claimed Liverpool have six 'world-class' players as the Reds staged a comeback against West Ham to keep their Invincibles dream alive.

Jurgen Klopp's side recovered to beat the Hammers 3-2 at Anfield thanks to strikes from Gini Wijnaldum, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Wijnaldum opened the scoring in the early stages, nodding past Lukasz Fabianski in the West Ham goal from Trent Alexander-Arnold's pinpoint cross.

But the visitors responded through Issa Diop who headed a corner past Alisson before Pablo Fornals gave them an unlikely lead early in the second half.

Salah levelled as his shot crept through the defences of Fabianksi who had a nightmare evening between the sticks, before Mane got the winner nine minutes from time from another Alexander-Arnold assist.

Mane thought he had a second shortly afterwards only for VAR to rule him offside, but Liverpool hung on to win their 18th successive Premier League game having dropped just two points so far this term.

Reds legend Carragher was watching on in Sky Sports' Monday Night Football studio, and believes the runaway league leaders possess six 'world-class' talents.

But he says one of those – namely Salah – would be deemed replaceable by fans if a big enough offer came in – because the Egyptian is 'under-appreciated'.
