Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag reviews Bournemouth game
Casemiro is in contact with Brazil team-mate Neymar about a potential summer transfer to Manchester United, according to reports. United are eyeing a sensational swoop for the PSG forward ahead of Erik ten Hag’s second season, and Casemiro is playing his part.
Ten Hag wants attacking reinforcements this summer after struggling for goals in his maiden campaign in English football.
And the Red Devils could pounce on Neymar’s uncertain situation at the Parc des Princes to provide him with heavyweight firepower.
According to L’Equipe, United have entered talks over a deal for the 31-year-old, either permanent or on loan.
Casemiro is said to be ‘pushing hard’ to unite with his international pal at Old Trafford after arriving in a £70million move from Real Madrid last summer.
Neymar would add to the growing Brazilian contingent in M16, of which Fred, Antony and loanee Alex Telles are also members.

After a sticky end to the season in the French capital, Neymar is reportedly open to a new challenge next season once he returns from his ankle ligament injury.
Around 50 PSG ultras went to Neymar’s house at the start of May to demand that he leave the club, making him feel unwelcome at the Ligue 1 giants.
It’s claimed that Neymar would prefer a Premier League switch, and United should also have Champions League football on offer.
Chelsea have also been linked in recent months. Todd Boehly has proved he’s not afraid to spend big since buying the club last year.

But Neymar’s potential United arrival would be bad news for Mason Greenwood, whose future at the club is up in the air amid an ongoing investigation.
If Greenwood remains a United player once his suspension is lifted, he will return to the fold to a much-more competitive attacking department than what he left. Neymar would make that aspect all the more difficult.
But if a deal to sign Neymar is wrapped up before his comeback, the club’s owners could view the 21-year-old as surplus to requirements.
United face a possible backlash from some fans if they allow him to resume his career at Old Trafford and that PR drama could be considered an unnecessary distraction, with plenty of young forwards at Ten Hag’s disposal.
