Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has not been reassured over his game time at the club for the upcoming season, according to reports. Abraham fell out of favour at Chelsea last season following the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the club’s head coach. A recent conversation with Tuchel has reportedly not had a positive outcome for the England international.
Abraham ended last season as Chelsea’s joint-top goalscorer in all competitions.
The Blues academy graduate netted 12 times, the same amount as summer signing Timo Werner.
That is despite Abraham making just two appearances since February 20.
Chelsea are in the market for a striker and have reportedly seen a proposal for Erling Haaland turned down by Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea are claimed to have offered Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and cash to Dortmund for Haaland.
Dortmund are keen not to sell this summer despite Haaland’s relatively low release clause becoming active in a year’s time.
Olivier Giroud’s departure to AC Milan this week leaves Abraham as one of the only striker options for Tuchel at present.
But speaking on Reach PLC’s Transfer Window podcast, Ian McGarry claims Tuchel has all but made it clear Abraham will not feature heavily this season.

McGarry said: “Abraham has had a conversation with Thomas Tuchel regarding his future at the club and Tuchel has been less than reassuring with regards to his chances of game time over the coming season.
“That being the case, obviously Abraham has a decision to make.
“If he decides to leave the club, either by a transfer or on loan, with Olivier Giroud going to AC Milan, Chelsea will be left with one or two recognised No 9s, if you count [Michy] Batshuayi, neither of whom who are fancied by Tuchel.
“It is again the case where when a manager tells you that it’s up to you whether you stay or fight for your place or if you want to go then you can go, then that really actually means ‘you can go’.”

Chelsea played a behind-closed-doors friendly against Peterborough on Saturday.
Abraham scored as Tuchel’s side ran out 6-1 winners at the club’s Cobham training ground.
Christian Pulisic and youngster Armando Broja also grabbed a goal each, with Hakim Ziyech netting a hat-trick.
Hudson-Odoi also played following reports of that swap deal offer involving Haaland and Abraham.
