Chelsea youngster Trevoh Chalobah will choose between West Brom and Brentford as he heads for the Stamford Bridge exit. The news comes amidst reports that Thomas Tuchel will refresh his squad this summer.
Chalobah was highly rated as a teenager and was on the substitutes’ bench for the Blues’ FA Cup final win in 2018.
However, the now 22-year-old has failed to make a first team appearance, instead enjoying three separate loan spells away from the club.
The versatile Chalobah, who is the younger brother of Watford star Nathaniel, has been sent on temporary stays to Ipswich Town, Huddersfield Town and French side Lorient.
He has made a combined 112 appearances for his three loan clubs.

But a failure to break into the tough defensive and midfield competition at Chelsea means that he will be allowed to leave in a permanent move this summer.
West Brom were in pole position to sign Chalobah during the transfer window but face late competition from Brentford and Lorient, according to the Express and Star.
Brentford’s promotion to the Premier League and their close location to Chelsea make them an attractive proposition to Chalobah.
West Brom were relegated to the Championship but are one of the favourites for promotion after appointing the exciting former Barnsley head coach Valerien Ismael as manager.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are continuing their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.
Boss Thomas Tuchel wants to add a forward to his attacking options after seeing his side frequently misfire last term, despite their incredible run to Champions League success.
Midfielder Jorginho was the club’s highest scorer in the Premier League but all seven of his goals were penalties.
Haaland would likely cost close to £150million could wait until the Norwegian’s release clause drops to around £64m next summer.
The 20-year-old has scored a staggering 57 goals in 59 appearances for the Bundesliga club since joining from RB Salzburg in January 2020.
Tuchel has demanded a couple of changes to his squad in an attempt to forge a top-flight title bid next term.
“Two or three could be very, very good,” he said after the Champions League final victory over Man City.
“It’s a constant thing to never deny change.
“That you always bring new energy, new guys who question the old beliefs, who challenge everybody in the training and in matches, so I think it’s a good thing.
“We don’t need another seven and another complete turnover because it’s also our job to keep on improving.
“Because we have still a young squad and it’s not about stealing from them the chance to prove it again that they are capable of growing and evolving.
“But we have some ideas, of course, to make the group stronger and I think this can always be a positive thing to challenge all of us.”
