Chelsea full-back Marcos Alonso looks set to leave the club following a recent spat with Frank Lampard and there are currently two interested clubs. Alonso has seen his position at the club come into question ever since Lampard took charge at Stamford Bridge.
The Spaniard was a regular under both Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri, but he failed to impress Lampard during his debut season in charge.
The Chelsea boss chopped and changed between Emerson Palmieri with a new left-back top of his wishlist heading into the summer transfer window.
Ben Chilwell was the club’s main target and they eventually agreed a deal with Leicester for the full-back to make the move to west London.
He arrived with a slight injury though, meaning Alonso was the go-to option with Emerson expected to be sold with strong interest from Serie A.

But there may well be a change of plans following the 3-3 draw against West Brom at the weekend.
Alonso was hauled off at half-time after a poor first 45 minutes and it was reported that he attempted to watch the rest of the match on the team bus before returning to the substitutes bench midway through the second half.
Lampard was made aware of the situation after the game and the Chelsea boss was said to have scalded the defender in front of all his team-mates.
Further questions were raised when Alonso was left out of Chelsea’s matchday squad to face Tottenham in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.

And it appears as though Alonso will now be pushed out the door before the end of the transfer window.
According to Sky Sports Italy, the heated exchange between Lampard and the 29-year-old was the final straw for the Chelsea boss.
It is claimed both Inter Milan and Juventus are interested in signing the left-back.
Inter boss Antonio Conte is said to be keen on a reunion with Alonso, but he is currently well stocked with options on the left side of defence.
The same applies to Andrea Pirlo at Juventus with Alex Sandro the first-choice option, although he’s currently out injured.
Gianluca Frabotta, 21, has stepped in already this season but Pirlo may well want a more senior option as cover for Sandro moving forward.
The report also states that Juventus may well be reliant on Mattia De Sciglio’s future, who has been strongly linked with a move away from Turin.
Emerson had looked the likeliest to leave Chelsea over Alonso, but interest has gone cold on the 26-year-old.
