Erling Haaland is a name on the lips of most major clubs this summer, but Chelsea may be disappointed in their efforts to land the Borussia Dortmund striker.
That’s after reports emerged suggesting the Norway international has already agreed terms with Real Madrid, who would then only need to sanction a fee with Dortmund to execute the transfer.
Blues manager Thomas Tuchel may have also fallen behind Paris Saint-Germain in the hunt to sign Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi, whose agent is due in Italy for a ‘crucial meeting’ with the Nerazzurri.
Wolverhampton Wanderers star Adama Traore has been touted as an alternative in the event Chelsea fall short in that deal, but the Spanish speedster has said he's keen on a return to Barcelona.

Haaland in ‘total agreement’ with Real
A trophy-less 2020/21 season has put Real president Florentino Perez under pressure to force change this summer, and it appears Haaland could be the key in Carlo Ancelotti's first summer back in Madrid.
That could devastate Chelsea in their efforts to land the Dortmund dynamo, who has reached a ‘total agreement’ with Los Blancos in regards to personal terms, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
It was reported last week that the Blues themselves had also agreed personal terms with Haaland and his agent, Mino Raiola, as they seek a world-class upgrade in attack.

Tuchel guided Chelsea to the Champions League title after only four months at Stamford Bridge, but both Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud have been linked with the exit this summer.
Haaland was in demand among Europe’s elite prior to joining Dortmund in January 2020, and it appears another transfer tug-of-war is gathering pace ahead of a potential move.
Hakimi’s agent flies to Milan for talks
Inter speedster Hakimi has emerged as another top target for the Blues board in recent weeks, but interest from Paris Saint-Germain could see the European champions miss out.
Sport Witness cited a report from Corriere dello Sport, which said the player’s agent, Alejandro Camano, is due in Milan for a ‘crucial meeting’ to discuss PSG’s latest offer for his client.
The Ligue 1 giants are yet to lodge an official offer for Hakimi—who is reportedly valued at €70million (£60m)—though it’s understood PSG’s bid is expected imminently.
The Morocco international was a prominent part of the Nerazzurri squad that ended Inter’s 11-year wait for a Serie A title this past season, scoring seven goals and recording 10 assists in 37 league outings.

Chelsea face further disappointment in their hopes of recruiting a right winger should they fail to land Hakimi, with Wolves’ Traore preferring a return to Barcelona above all else.
The Spain international—who is currently representing his country at Euro 2020—was born and raised in Catalonia, spending 11 years on the books at Barcelona before he left for England in 2015.
In a recent interview with RAC1, Traore teased a potential move back to the Camp Nou: “Barcelona is my home. It’s the reality. I grew up since I was 10. From here, we will have to manage with my agents and see what role Barcelona wants.”
Traore, 25, has two years remaining on his contract at Molineux, where he ended his 2020/21 campaign with just three goals and three assists in 41 total appearances for Wolves.
