After winning the Champions League, Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are looking to get even better and challenge for domestic glory.
The Stamford Bridge club were competitive against the top sides last season and they have an elite coach in Tuchel, giving them the belief they can challenge on all fronts next season.
They spent over £230m last summer on players like Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell and could open their chequebooks again this year to build on that.
Incomings have been slow, but there could be plenty of players exiting Stamford Bridge, especially those from the academy.
Daily Star Sport has taken a look at Chelsea’s latest transfer news below.
Guehi on the move
England under-21 international Marc Guehi is close to moving to Crystal Palace and a move may be completed in the next 48 hours.
The 21-year-old spent the previous season-and-a-half on loan at Swansea City playing 59 times for the club and is now set for a permanent move to Selhurst Park.
The defender will sign on a five-year deal and Chelsea will have first refusal on any potential future transfer that Guehi may be a part of. The fee is reported to be around £20m.
Bid made for Haaland
According to Sky in Germany, a bid was made for Erling Haaland but Borussia Dortmund were firm on their stance.
The Blues are looking to bolster their attacking options, with the Norwegian seen as one of their prime targets – they also considered a player exchange.
Tammy Abraham and Callum Hudson-Odoi were both proposed to Dortmund as Chelsea hope to secure the player. The club will now consider their next move.

Arsenal keen on Abraham
Chelsea wish to get £40m through the sale of forward Tammy Abraham, and The Telegraph say that Arsenal are interested in bringing the player over to the Emirates Stadium.
Chelsea have offered Abraham to a number of clubs including Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Inter, hoping it can spark up a deal for players the Blues want themselves.
Arsenal, however, are serious with their interest but may have to sell players themselves to acquire the player, with Alexandre Lacazette possibly on the way out.
