Chelsea defender Thiago Silva has named Phil Foden as the best young player in this season's Champions League.
The Brazilian defender has helped the Blues to a first Champions League final since 2012, where they will face Manchester City tomorrow evening.
Thomas Tuchel's side got the better of Atletico Madrid, Porto and Real Madrid in the latter stages of the competition to set-up an all-English tie in Portugal.
There have been some dazzling displays from the likes of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe in the Champions League this campaign, but Silva has chosen Foden as the one player who has impressed him most.
“Well, I’ve played against him a few times already, especially this season,” the Brazil international told UEFA when asked to name the Champions League's Young Player of the Season.
“And I’ll be facing him once again [in the final] — Phil Foden from Manchester City.”
Foden has been instrumental in enabling City to reach a first European final in the club's history.
The 21-year-old scored in both legs of the Sky Blues' quarter-final showdown with Borussia Dortmund and provided an assist in the semi-final second leg against PSG.
It has been a rapid rise to the top for the Stockport-born midfielder, who has been shocked at how quickly he has progressed as a player.
"It does feel like a dream,” he told BBC Sport.
“I would never have thought it would happen so quickly. I'd always laugh and joke with my mates about playing in the Champions League final, [but] I never thought I would be playing in one."
For Silva, this represents a second Champions League final in two years.
The 36-year-old was captain of the PSG side, coached by Tuchel, that lost 1-0 to Bayern Munich last August.
