Cristiano Ronaldo has shared a picture of himself beaming in training at Manchester United. The Portugal international wants to leave Old Trafford this summer for a team playing in the Champions League. However, ever the professional, he’s been working hard at Carrington as he looks to get into shape.
Ronaldo has been absent from Manchester United’s summer so far, with the 37-year-old allowed time off due to a private matter.
He’s since jetted back to England and has been training at Carrington, while he missed Saturday’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Atletico Madrid.
And while Ronaldo wants to leave United, he appears to be in good spirits.
The veteran shared an image of him along with the likes of Amad, Charlie Savage, Hannibal Mejbri and Will Fish.
He posed with his arms crossed and his shorts typically short, showing off his muscles in the process.

Ronaldo will be looking to start when United face off against Brighton next weekend in their Premier League opener at Old Trafford.
Behind the scenes, however, the Red Devils consider the Portugal international to be roughly a month behind schedule compared to his team-mates.
Amid Ronaldo’s desire to go, several teams have been linked with a blockbuster move for the former Real Madrid and Juventus star.
However, nobody appears to be seriously interested at the current moment in time.
Real and Juventus aren’t interested in re-signing Ronaldo, with the player’s time at both clubs over for good.

Man Utd have already signed two perfect players for De Jong
Bayern Munich emerged as potential suitors earlier in the month, especially after losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.
But the Bundesliga titans have played down interest in the forward, with both Oliver Kahn and Julian Nagelsmann speaking out.
Another team who have been linked is Chelsea.
Blues owner Todd Boehly recently met with Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, to discuss a controversial move to Stamford Bridge.
But with United reluctant to sell, and Thomas Tuchel not interested, the chances of the forward moving to west London seem remote.

Meanwhile, former United star Teddy Sheringham recently opened up on Ronaldo’s uncertain future.
And he expressed a belief the forward leaving would be a good thing for his old side because it would free up funds for new signings.
“I half saw it coming,” Sheringham told Sportsmail.
“People are saying shall Ten Hag build his team around Ronaldo, but if he wants to go, he goes. That opens up a whole new corridor for United.
“You could get in two or three players on that sort of wage and that is a lot of money they could spend each month.
“Life goes on, he wants to go and play somewhere else, so get players in that you know who are going to be strong and stable throughout the season.
“Ronaldo will have been watching what has been going on, he will feel the vibes from how it was in Fergie’s time and how the club is being run now and he will get the vibes that he does not like what he is seeing going on.
“If you stand still in football, you fall and maybe Ronaldo sees the same. Where is that big signing coming from?
“If I’m Ronaldo now, I’m saying go on then United, excite me…what are you doing in the transfer market.
“Ronaldo has got maybe another year or two years max at the top level and he deserves to enjoy his football at the top of his game.”
