‘Scoring goals in the Premier League may be the biggest challenge in my career. But I’m confident in myself and my teammates to be successful.’

Edouard saw a move to Leicester City fall through earlier in the window as Celtic dug their heels in over their asking price.

Palace had been trying to bring in three new players before the deadline with a forward and winger their priorities.

Edouard scored 86 goals from 179 appearances for Celtic during his four-year stay in Scotland.

New boss Patrick Vieira has seen his side fail to score in three of their four matches so far this season.

On-loan Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher notched both of their goals in the 2-2 draw at West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday.
