Marc Cucurella's proposed move from Brighton to Chelsea has hit the rocks with the Seagulls reportedly wanting more than Chelsea are currently offering.
Thomas Tuchel's side have placed a bid of £50million, plus Levi Colwill would head to the south coast on loan. However, Brighton are said to be hoping to land Colwill on a permanent deal and pocket more than the Blues are currently offering.
Brighton are aware the 24-year-old Spaniard – who joined from Getafe last season for £15million – wants to leave the club. But, according to The Times, the Seagulls are still holding out for more before they let Cucurella leave.

Manchester City had also been keen on the Spaniard, but walked away from the deal when Brighton played hardball.
Brighton had originally quoted City £50million for his services, but City weren't willing to pay above £40million for Cucurella. Cucurella had attempted to force a move through to City by handing in a transfer request at the Amex Stadium.
But even with his best attempts to force the move, Brighton refused to budge.

It's believed that Tuchel sees Cucurella as capable of playing as a LWB in his three-back system, but also as a left-sided centre-back.
Chelsea could see a number of exits before the end of the transfer window, including: Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, César Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso.
