Manchester United legend David Beckham has shared a heartwarming snap of himself with receptionist and former mentor Cathy.
The pair reunited while watching the Red Devils beat Arsenal 3-2 on Thursday evening.
Cristiano Ronaldo dragged United to the three points when he netted his 800th – and 801st – career goals following a controversial opener for the Gunners Emile Smith Rowe.
Becks watched on from the stands alongside his son, and Arsenal fan, Romeo Beckham, who has recently started his own professional career.
But it was the emotional reunion with his old mentor that tugged on the heartstrings of football fans.
"Great being back at Old Trafford last night… So special being at the game with my dad and one of my boys @romeobeckham… the Arsenal fan [laughing emoji].
"And of course, made even better with the win and seeing Cathy [heart emoji]."
Beckham has previously shared posts with Cathy, the most recent in 2017: "This wonderful lady used to look after me at Manchester United and it's always so amazing seeing her…
"Cathy has worked at Manchester United for almost 49 years, a truly remarkable achievement and a very special lady…. [heart emoji] @manchesterunited."
