Manchester United could reportedly still sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa next summer.
The Red Devils have often been linked with the England star, who has shone in the opening matches of the new season.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did strengthen his midfield in the recent transfer window as he brought Donny van de Beek in from Ajax.
The Dutch star has found life at Old Trafford tough in the early days and is yet to start a Premier League game for his new club.
Though, even with the extra body being signed, the Manchester Evening News report that United could make a move for Grealish next summer.
It’s claimed that the Red Devils may put Grealish back on their radar should Paul Pogba or Nemanja Matic leave the club.
The MEN add that Van de Beek was not seen as a direct alternative to Grealish, despite there being plenty of similarities.
Even so, Van de Beek has struggled to get into the United team with the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay ahead of him in Solskjaer’s pecking order.

“It is really bad for a player like Donny to play only six or seven games this year. That is shocking for your match rhythm.
