Eden Hazard finally scores again for Real Madrid almost 400 days after last goal

Eden Hazard has finally ended his goal drought with the Real Madrid star scoring for the first time in 392 days.

Hazard joined the La Liga giants from Chelsea last summer though struggled with form and injuries during his first season at the Bernabeu.

He had only scored one goal for the club before today, netting in a 4-2 win over Granada in October 2019.

Though Hazard has seemingly found his scoring boots again as he netted Real’s opener in their La Liga clash with Huesca.

The Belgian picked up the ball midway inside the Huesca’s half and took a couple of strides forward.

He unleashed a thunderous effort from at least 30 yards as Real looked to bounce back from their Champions League draw with Borussia Monchengladbach.

And fans were quick to react with one writing on social media: “To everyone who doubted him. He is officially back. What a goal.”

And another added: “2020 is so weird that even Hazard scored a goal for Real Madrid.”

While a third put: “392 days between Hazard first and second Madrid goal but what a strike that was, on his left foot too.”

One more commented: “The people that are doing Hazard must be asleep, the man just scored a beautiful goal.”

Hazard had opened up on his Real Madrid struggles, saying: "The criticisms don't bother me. It's me who has to prove my level on the pitch. They know my level and I have to improve so they are proud of me.

“I feel good. It's true that they expect a lot from me and me too. I can do better. The criticisms are normal. Not everything is perfect but we are already top of the league.
