Erling Haaland supposedly has his heart set on a move to the Premier League as opposed to joining Real Madrid or Bayern Munich. Another sensational season for Haaland last season saw the striker being strongly linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Chelsea, Manchester United, Real and Bayern were all being strongly linked with a move for the Norway international.
But Dortmund made it clear early on that it would take a monumental offer for them to even consider selling Haaland this summer.
No official bid was made and, once Jadon Sancho departed for Old Trafford, it was even more unlikely Haaland would follow suit.
With just a few weeks left of the summer transfer window, Haaland looks set to stay for at least one more season.

And he’s already begun in spectacular fashion, scoring a hat-trick in the German Cup clash against third-tier side Wehen Wiesbaden last weekend.
The 21-year-old will be expected to feature in the Bundesliga opener against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, but where he plys his trade next season remains uncertain.
Numerous reports have indicated a release clause set in the region of £68million can be activated next summer, opening the door for a number of clubs to sign Haaland in a cut-price deal.
Clubs all over Europe will be hoping to entice Haaland into signing for them and the striker’s agent, Mino Raiola, will undoubtedly be contacted throughout the season to stake their claim.
There has been some suggestion that Haaland fancies a move to the Bernabeu while Bayern may also be in the market for a striker with Robert Lewandowski’s contract winding down.
However, Sky Germany’s Jesco von Eichmann indicates that United may hold the advantage with Haaland “dreaming” of a move to the Premier League.
“If they would sell him, I guess they would prefer not to sell him in the Bundesliga,” he said on Sky Sports.
“They know how strong he is and how many goals he scores.

“So if they have to lose him, they would prefer to lose him to the Premier League, or La Liga.
“I can’t really imagine that Bayern Munich is going to sign Erling Haaland.
“Erling Haaland is dreaming of the Premier League as I’ve heard so I don’t think he will stay in Germany.”
Chelsea are unlikely to be in play to sign Haaland with a deal for Romelu Lukaku set to be announced soon.
Manchester City are also focussing their attention on Harry Kane, leaving the door open for United to swoop in.
