Frenkie de Jong’s girlfriend has been left fawning over the Barcelona star’s “fabulous butt” following their 3-1 win over Celta Vigo.
Barcelona secured a convincing victory over the mid-table side on Tuesday as Memphis Depay and two goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all but guaranteed the club’s second-place position in La Liga.
De Jong starred in midfield alongside Gavi and took to Instagram to post his joy after the game, writing: “A win at Camp Nou always feels good,” along with several pictures of himself smiling and in action. And his girlfriend Mikky Kiemeney couldn’t resist commenting about one of the snaps in particular, which showed off the 25-year-old’s shapely posterior.
Kiemeney commented the ‘eyes’ emoji along with a peach. Understandably, some were left confused until one fan took to Twitter to explain.
They wrote: “She's referring to the 2nd slide in his Instagram post where we can see Frenkie flaunting his fabulous butt.”
Do you think Frenkie De Jong will leave Barcelona in the summer? Let us know in the comments section.
While another fan added: “Mikky be looking at that a**.”
The Dutchman has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United this week after three seasons with Barcelona. Journalist Gerard Romero claimed on Wednesday that De Jong’s £69million move to the Red Devils was “95% likely”, with the Catalan side reportedly eager to alleviate some of their financial burdens by letting the midfield star leave.
Romero wrote on Twitter: “Before the end of the season and with a 95 per-cent probability, Frenkie de Jong will be transferred to Manchester United. It is a pure economic issue. Barça needs to sell a player who has not been top at the club.”
A move to Old Trafford would see De Jong reunited with his former Ajax manager Erik ten Hag next season. While it is believed the player himself wants to remain at Barcelona and there is no full agreement yet between the clubs, he has been dealt a blow in being put up for sale by the Blaugrana.
