The five-star Paris hotel where Lionel Messi is currently living has allegedly been hit by masked raiders, who stole thousands of pounds of jewellery and cash.
Messi joined PSG in the summer and has been living at the Le Royal Monceau in the French capital.
He recently waved at fans from his balcony though the hotel has now been hit by masked raiders.
The Sun claim the gang broke in by scaling down the outside of the building from the roof before entering via an unlocked balcony door.
It's reported that the gang gained entry one floor above Messi's suite, and hit four rooms in the hotel.
One female victim, who had left her room for the evening, allegedly discovered a £3,000 gold necklace was missing, plus £500 earrings and £2,000 in cash when she returned the next day.
She said: “To pay a fortune for somewhere fancy and secure and have someone walk in your room is very disturbing. The police told us they saw two men with a bag on the roof on CCTV cameras but they could not identify them.
“They said three other robberies were also reported. A Moroccan guy in the next room told me he had his watch stolen.”
Police are involved with The Sun being told: “There has clearly been a very serious security breach and it’s being investigated. There is evidence to suggest an experienced gang was responsible.”
The hotel say an investigation is being held.
Security had been ramped up following Messi's August arrival from Barcelona, with the footballing superstar moving in with wife Antonela Roccuzzo and their three children.
