Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes supporters of the club do not value Mohamed Salah as highly as some other players in Jurgen Klopp's side.
Salah has been a huge success for the Reds since he joined from Roma in 2017, and the Egyptian scored a sensational 44 goals in all competitions in his first season.
Since then he has been slightly less clinical, recording 27 goals during the last campaign and 18 so far this season in 30 appearances, but is nevertheless still the team's top scorer.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher suggested that there are five other players who supporters of the club appear to prefer over Salah in spite of his excellent scoring record.
"I actually think Mo Salah is seen as world class outside, but I think with Liverpool fans he is a little bit under-appreciated, certainly going from his first season to what he's doing now," Carragher said.
"Obviously there's been a slight dip, and he's not going to get 47 goals every season, but I think Liverpool have got six world class players- the goalkeeper (Alisson), Trent Alexander Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Salah.
"I think if you asked Liverpool fans if they would take big money for the first five they would all say no, no matter what the figure was. But if you asked them 'if someone offered you £130m for Salah, would you take it?' I think they'd say 'yes', or 'I'll think about it'.
