Jeremy Kyle calls Carragher and Neville ‘rent-a-gobs’ in rant at Celtic fans

Jeremy Kyle has slammed Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher for their opinions on cancelling football following the death of Queen Elizabeth II as part of a rant against Celtic supporters.

The Premier League and the EFL took the decision to postpone all fixtures on the weekend following the death of the Monarch. And the two Sky Sports pundits were quick to criticise the decision, citing football should have gone on to pay its respects.

But Kyle has now slammed the duo – labelling the pair 'rent-a-gob' after Celtic fans produced a banner celebrating the Queen's death. Ahead of their Champions League clash, Celtic unveiled two banners that read "F*** the Crown" and the other “Sorry for your loss Michael Fagan."

Kyle said: "One of the things that absolutely enraged me, you know this debate last week about cancelling the Premier League fixtures? They decided to do that, and Jamie Carragher, rent-a-gob, and Gary Neville, rent-a-gob mark II, they said it was disgraceful and it would have been a fantastic chance for football fans to show their respect.

"I get that, then we watch what happened in Scotland. Celtic fans are being slammed absolutely for the most offensive banner, which was basically slagging off the Queen's death. In contrast, a quite elaborate tribute from Rangers fans at the weekend, the impact was wonderful.

"I didn't understand why some Celtic fans were being disrespectful to the late Monarch, Rangers fans not so."

One fan joked: "Jeremy Kyle calling Carragher and Neville "rent a gob". Irony just died of an aneurism!"

Kyle went on to slam Celtic for not condemning the behaviour, and he added: "Actually there's a deafening silence from the club. You were an ex-director, would you not ban the lot of them for that? I would."
