Jose Mourinho believes Jack Grealish can spark England into life against the Czech Republic.
Grealish, 25, has found game-time hard to come by so far at Euro 2020.
The Aston Villa ace failed to get off the bench against Croatia and was forced to make do with a 27-minute cameo against Scotland.
The midfielder made things happen after his introduction on Friday night, increasing the clamour for him to start against the Czech Republic on Tuesday.
Gareth Southgate has so far resisted calls to throw Grealish in from the off – but ex-Tottenham boss Mourinho thinks the star has to be given a chance after England’s insipid attacking display against Scotland.
Speaking to The Sun, Mourinho said: “England look like a shy team, so they need Jack Grealish against the Czech Republic tonight.
“He looks like he has always been on that stage. The guy is brave.
“The guy never played a European match for his club but he arrives in the national team and is fearless.
“He risks. He gambles. He loses the ball. He creates. He kicks people. People kick him. He creates instability in opponents.

“England looked a shy team against Scotland because they were a team without that thing that Grealish has.
“I don’t like comparing players — and Luis Figo was at a different level — but Grealish is like Figo in that he’ll demand the ball.
“He says, ‘Give me the ball and I will resolve this!’”
Grealish could come into England’s starting XI for Mason Mount, who is self-isolating along with Ben Chilwell after the pair came into contact Billy Gilmour, who tested positive for Covid-19.
Unfortunate circumstances look set to hand the Birmingham-born star his first major tournament start, and he can’t wait for the opportunity.
Ahead of the match, Grealish said: “I hope to bring a lot. If I got the chance to play, I’d be as fearless as possible.
“I’d attack the full backs or whoever I’m up against. I’d just try and do what I do on a weekly basis for Aston Villa.”
