Kevin De Bruyne doesn’t even flinch as Kalvin Phillips attempts Halloween prank

Kevin De Bruyne proved he has ice in his veins away from the pitch when Kalvin Phillips failed to scare the Belgian on Halloween.

Manchester City's summer signing has failed to hit the ground running on the pitch – but he has certainly jelled with the squad away from it. Phillips donned a clown mask and jumped out at his team-mates around the Etihad Campus.

And while most of City's side screamed at the sudden jump scare, De Bruyne didn't flinch. De Bruyne said: "That wasn't very good was it, it could have been better…you look better than normal!"

Before his failed attempt to scare City's star man, Phillips said: "I'm scaring all the lads for Halloween.

"I've got my mask here, it's going to be fun! Hopefully, I can catch them early in the morning and give them a fright!" Phillips then roped in the receptionist to send the player around the corner when they arrived to collect a delivery, where he was waiting.

Nathan Ake, Rico Lewis, Manuel Akanji, and Josh Wilson-Esbrand were all left scrambling backwards as a result of the prank.

While City fans loved the prank, a lot more were distracted by a bold new hairstyle from City's new superstar Erling Haaland.

Haaland arrived for City training on Monday with his long blonde hair in two braids – like a Viking.
