With just two days left in the summer transfer window, Leeds United still have business to do in the market.
The Whites have made four permanent signings so far this summer, with Leo Hjelde yesterday joining Jack Harrison, Junior Fripo and Kristoffer Klaesson through the Elland Road arrivals door.
But after a mixed start to the Premier League season, boss Marcelo Bielsa is keen to add more players to his squad.
Reinforcements in attack is what the Argentine desires most, with time quickly running out before Tuesday night’s deadline.
Here, Daily Star Sport rounds up the latest Leeds transfer news…
Leeds ‘chasing’ Man Utd star
Leeds United are said to be chasing a move for Manchester United star Dan James, as the transfer window enters its final days.
The Whites hold a long-term interest in the winger and former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood believes they could make a late move.
Leeds are chasing him and he played well against them in the first game of the season. It was a great rehearsal for him. I think he’ll be another one [who leaves],” Sherwood said.

Bielsa strategy blasted
Former Leeds United star David Norris has blasted Marcelo Bielsa for causing the Whites to miss out on players this summer.
The Argentine took until the eve of the season to sign an extension to his contract at Elland Road, which Norris believes hindered their attempts to sign new players.
“When it comes to signing players, they move for the manager quite a lot of the time. The manager will be the one that sells it to them,” Norris told This Is Futbol.
“They might have even lost out on three or four players because of not knowing what is going on with Bielsa.”
Liverpool join Damsgaard race
Liverpool have reportedly joined Leeds in the race to sign young attacker Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria in a £30m deal.
He joined the Serie A side less than a year ago, but his impressive performances for Denmark at Euro 2020 has drawn the interest of Leeds.
The Whites have been linked with Damsgaard for most of the summer, but La Republicca now report that Liverpool are seen as “genuine contenders”.
