Leroy Sane will step up his recovery from a serious knee injury with Manchester City’s Under 23 team on Friday night.

The 24-year-old suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury and only returned to first-team training earlier this month.
Pep Guardiola has not deemed Sane fit enough to take part yet but it is hoped he can regain match sharpness with the Under 23s.
Sane’s future at the Etihad Stadium is uncertain after switching agents and ongoing interest from Bayern Munich.
City had wanted to recoup as much as £135million for the winger last summer but he will only have a year left on his contract when the next transfer window opens.
