Liverpool fans have been left raging after seeing Anthony Martial tell a Manchester United ball boy to slow down.
United claimed their first win of the new Premier League season on Monday night as they beat rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford. The result also means that the Reds remain without a victory after three matches of the season and also now find themselves below United in the table.
Footage has now emerged on social media from the closing stages of the match, showing United forward Martial encouraging a ball boy to time waste.

In the clip, the Frenchman can be seen gesturing with his hand to the ball boy to slow down when giving him the ball back after it had gone out of play for a United corner.
The video of the incident has since gone viral, with Liverpool supporters quick to share their angry at Martial's tactics to grind out a win for his side, with one fan commenting: “Not what you want to see when you pay. Just play fair.”
Another added: “They’re scared that’s why," after Mohamed Salah's late goal had given Liverpool hope and set up a tense finish. A third fan also wrote: “Such a sad attitude.”

However, United were able to hold on to their slender advantage in the closing stages to claim their first points of the season following successive defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford.
Martial made an impressive cameo off the bench on Monday, in addition to his timewasting antics late on. He replaced Anthony Elanga at half-time to make his first appearance of the season.
The 26-year-old missed the opening two matches of the campaign due to a hamstring injury he sustained in pre-season. He wasted no time in leaving his mark on the match, though, setting up Rashford for United's second just eight minutes after coming on.
United and Martial will hope to make it back-to-back victories on Saturday afternoon when they travel to St. Mary's to take on Southampton.
