Liverpool fans want Jurgen Klopp to recall Harvey Elliott from his Blackburn Rovers loan after he scored a superb solo goal.
The 17-year-old rising star has been sent out to gain first-team experience in the ultra physical Championship, and he produced a moment of magic against Norwich City.
With Rovers 1-0 down to the division's leaders just before the hour-mark, Elliott received the ball out wide and showed sublime skill to get his side back in the game.
The young winger showed a burst of pace to leave one defender in his wake, then cut inside and knocked it through the legs of another Norwich player before firing home from a tight angle to level the scores.
While the Canaries would go on to win and stay top of the table, Elliott's third goal in 13 games for Rovers is a promising sign for Liverpool fans, who were already well aware of the winger's ability.
One fan said it was "reminiscent of Mo Salah", describing Elliott as "a real prospect".
Another suggested Salah should be worried for his place, tweeting: "Another goal for the future GOAT. I'd be sweating if I was Salah."
One supporter said "Maybe should recall him with all our injury woes", while another was convinced, saying: "Recall him, he's ready now."
Ad another fan responded to a tweet captioned "Harvey Elliott leaves Liverpool fans stunned" by saying: "He didn’t leave Liverpool fans stunned. We all know how good he is. He’s only going to get better."
Liverpool fans are not the only ones to have been impressed with Elliott, who has also posted four assists so far this season.
Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray hailed the teenager's precocious talent, saying: “You can see the quality of the kid.
"It’s amazing to think he is so young. We are delighted we have him. He’s a really refreshing and nice lad to work with."
