Liverpool-mad Babestation model calls for fan-owned route instead of oil money

A Babestation model has called for Liverpool to become fan-owned rather than go down the billionaire owner route.

Reds owners Fenway Sports Group on Monday announced their plans to sell the club after 12 years at the helm. The shock revelation has unsurprisingly led to various billionaire business moguls being linked to an Anfield takeover due to the club reportedly being valued at £3.5billion.

But Babestation beauty and Liverpool superfan Saskia Jade, who has been 'Fenway out' in the past, does not want her club to become another Manchester City or Chelsea. The stunning brunette has instead called on her fellow supporters to come together and help the club become fan-owned.

She said: “Nobody loves Liverpool more than the fans, and we are also where the club’s money comes from. So surely it makes sense that the fans are the owners of the club? If it works for Barcelona, then it can work for Liverpool FC.”

Barcelona is famously owned by its Catalan support rather than any individual, and operates as a members only club, currently having over 144,000 members. Any big decision has to be voted on by the membership.

Saskia went on to say: “Liverpool is similar to Barcelona in many ways, it is one of the biggest clubs in the world, and as a city has a similar streak of independence."

Despite her Barcelona comparisons, however, the Spanish club has become increasingly burdened by financial trouble in recent years due to mismanagement at the top. Meanwhile, oil-funded Man City are favourites to clinch the Premier League title for a second consecutive season.

Yet Saskia’s dream may have some additional perks, as a representative of UK webcam service channel Babestation pointed out.

They said: “We are proud to support Saskia Jade with this, as we know how passionate she is, whether towards her fans or the team she supports. Also, you never know – if Saskia gets her wish, the Liverpool fans might vote for Babestation as the new shirt sponsor!”
