Luke Shaw has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's impact since taking charge of Manchester United and insisted that the Norwegian has "put a smile" on the players' faces.
Former Red Devils striker Solskjaer returned to Old Trafford as interim boss after Jose Mourinho was sacked in December 2018 before he was appointed on a permanent basis in March after an impressive run.
Although the United boss found himself under pressure after a disappointing finish to last season and a slow start to the current campaign, his side have showed signs of improvement and are unbeaten since returning from their winter break.
Shaw is among the players who have impressed under Solskjaer in recent weeks and the defender was quick to highlight the positive atmosphere his manager has created.
"He [Solskjaer] has been unbelievable and has put a smile on our faces," he said ahead of the second leg of United's Europa League round-of-32 tie with Club Brugge on Thursday.
"He has been brilliant and the lads are really enjoying it, more-so now that we are getting better results.
"We have got an important second half of the season, Ole has been great and we enjoy working under him."
Shaw has struggled to live up to his potential joining United from Southampton for £27million in 2014 and was even publicly criticised by former boss Mourinho.
However, the England international has displayed some of his best form at Old Trafford under Solskjaer in recent weeks while operating as both a left-back and as a third centre-half.
