Manchester City have marked the new season with a new partnership which has seen them take special delivery of hundreds of cans of beer.
The reigning Premier League champions were sent their first supply of Asahi Super Dry, Japan's number one beer and their new beer partner, on a boat which travelled down the Manchester Ship Canal.
City legends Shaun Goater and Shaun Wright-Phillips skippered ‘The Pride of Manchester City’ as it made it's journey to the Etihad Stadium ahead of their first home match on August 13.

Asahi Super Dry has become a global partner of City Football Group, meaning fans of Pep Guardiola's side will be able to buy the lager when attending matches this season.
The Japanese company has made a significant investment which has seen cutting-edge equipment installed and the bar facilities upgraded at the Etihad, as well as at the grounds of their other three partners – Melbourne City, Yokohama F. Marinos, and Sichuan Juiniu.
