Man Utd fans belt out new Odion Ighalo chant during Watford win

Manchester United fans have clearly taken well to new signing Odion Ighalo with a chant already in full swinging paying tribute to the Nigerian.

The former Watford man was a late addition on deadline day but is yet to score for the Red Devils in three appearances thus far.

Ighalo has never hidden his admiration and passion for United with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer already praising the forward who is a big hit with his team-mates.

"He's a box striker, he's a goalscorer, we've already seen in training. He really knows his craft," Solskjaer said of the Nigerian forward.

"He's a fantastic professional and human being, and he's already added to the squad. The boys have learnt his song and already taken to him."

The forward was similarly complimentary about his team-mates as both he and fellow January new boy Bruno Fernandes look to impress.

The midfielder especially has hit the ground running at Old Trafford having scored his first goal from the penalty spot on Sunday against Ighalo's former team Watford.

"They are good lads," Ighalo said of his United colleagues. "They are happy to have me around. I have played against some before. They accept me."

Ighalo was involved in an awkward moment however after being told to leave the University of Manchester’s playing fields in Wythenshawe because nobody noticed him.

The forward was working on his fitness while his team0mates were away in Spain during the winter break.

Sung to the tune of Gold by Spandau Ballet, lyrics for Ighalo's new tune are as follows..

"Ighalo-Oh!

"Always believe in your soul,

"You've got the power to know,

"You're indestructible,

"Always believe in, Ighalo-Oh!"
