Manchester United star Scott McTominay could return against Watford after being named in the match day squad for the first time since Boxing Day. The Scotland international has been sidelined with a knee injury.
McTominay, 23, arrived with his United team-mates at The Lowry Hotel on Saturday night.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hailed McTominay earlier this week when asked if he could return against Watford.
“I think he might be in the squad,” Solskjaer said on Thursday.
“He had a rest day today, so let’s see how he is tomorrow. Mason’s been ill. I’m not surprised because that’s the type [McTominay] is.
“He’s a physical specimen. He’s a leader, he never shirks a tackle and he brings everyone with him.
“He can sit with Nemanja [Matic] or Fred, or he can be one of the runners in midfield.
“We’re talking about that today, that we don’t have that many runs past the striker. He used to be a striker before, so he’s used to being in the box.”
Odion Ighalo could be handed his full United debut on Sunday afternoon.

Man Utd team news: Predicted 3-5-2 line up vs Watford
The ex-Watford striker has made two cameo appearances for the Red Devils since sealing a deadline-day loan move from Shanghai Shenhua last month.
Solskjaer could start alongside Anthony Martial up top with Mason Greenwood on the bench after the youngster came down with an illness.
Speaking about Ighalo, Solskjaer said: “Everyone says that [players raise their game] against their old team when they score, but there are also many games when you don’t score.
“Odion is getting more and more minutes, but [whether he starts] depends on Mason as well of course, and how Anthony [Martial] is [after playing on Thursday].”
United’s January signing Bruno Fernandes will also start against Watford.

Man Utd ace Nemanja Matic makes transfer decision
Solskjaer has been vocal on Fernandes’ impact, with the Norwegian claiming the Portugal international is similar to Red Devils hero Paul Scholes.
“He’s another conductor, a leader and winner. He wants to win, He doesn’t take 99 per cent as good enough and he’s impressed me,” Solskjaer said.
“That’s something you see when you watch him but you don’t really know about until you have him in your group. He’s been absolutely top class.
“He reminds me of Scholesy as a player but definitely a different type of personality off the pitch.”
