Manchester United are set for a 'huge windfall', after a savvy piece of business, should Wilfried Zaha leave Crystal Palace this summer.
The Ivorian international was on the Red Devils' books between 2013 and 2015 but spent the majority of his time in Manchester out on loan and only managed two appearances for the senior side.
Zaha has since impressed for Palace, and his performances haven't gone unnoticed, with Tottenham, Arsenal, and United themselves interested in his services.
And thanks to a sell-on clause United inserted into the deal to take him back to Palace, United will be due 25% of a potential transfer fee.
United secured the services of Zaha – back in 2013 – for just over £10million, but after he failed to impress he was sold back to Palace for the cut price of £6million.
Palace asked United to waive the clause as part of the deal that took Aaron Wan-Bissaka to Old Trafford in 2019 but the Red Devils held firm.
And they could be ready to cash in this summer for a fee of around £40million, which would raise just over £10million – the price they originally paid for him – at Old Trafford.

Zaha has been incredible for the Eagles once again, with 11 goals in 30 games from the left wing last campaign.
However, the departure of Roy Hodgson, who Zaha was close with, looks to spell the end for the wantaway winger.
